A small utility to refresh and normalize the temperature of your Athlon/Duron processor.

The processor of your PC is a central component for the whole system and is often the one that suffers overheating because it's always working, even when it seems like the PC isn't doing anything. For this reason, it is important to keep an eye on it to stop the temperature passing aceptable limits. That's why you need VCool.

VCool is a small and useful tool that will reduce the temperature of your AMD processor, both Athlon and Duron. It is compatible with Via KT133 or KX133(A) (VT8363, VT8361, VT82C691/693A/694 or VT8371 +VT82C686x.). The progam controls the diconnection bit in the Northbridge Bus to reduce processor use during system inactivity.

Optionally, VCool also shows informaition on the actual CPU temperature in the taskbar, letting you directly shut down the PC as a prevention method if the temperature exceeds set limits.

This VCool program is very easy to download, install and then use, through its friendly and intuitive user interface. You don't need any technical experience at all to get the most out of it.
